Article: Coronaviruses - Potential human threat from foodborne transmission?
This article describes the outbreak of cowid-19 in meat and other food processing plants, raising concerns about the potential for foodborne transmission. We focus on the survivability of viruses in foods processed, stored and distributed in various units and the risk to consumers. If preventive measures are not taken, although the survival of viruses in the air during food processing may lead to food contamination, the survival of viruses in fresh food depends on the internal and external characteristics of specific food and the antibacterial interventions used in the production process. Even if the virus remains infectious on contaminated food, there are no reports of food intake and subsequent tissue invasion to maintain its infectivity. Another route of infection from contaminated food may be during food processing and subsequent transmission of the virus to other surfaces (e.g. face, nose), resulting in infection.

Article: Estimating the impact of the first COVID-19 lockdown on UK food retailers and the restaurant sector
This article evaluates the impact of the covid-19 shock on UK food retailers and restaurant sales. In order to control the spread of the covid-19, tourism and social interaction are limited, putting significant pressure on retailers, who have used the same match at the same time, to adapt to the fast changing market. The results show that between March 2020 and August 2020, the covid-19 restriction led to an increase of 4 billion euros in sales of food retailers and 4 billion euros in sales of non store retailers. Not a billion in sales? 20 loss making food stores, and in turnover of ~ 25 billion lost food and beverage services.

Abstract：The purpose of this study is to analyze the way young people view the process of food waste and the determinants and effects of the cowid-19 pandemic on young people's responsible behavior towards food waste. In this study, 375 students from the University of Romania were used as samples to establish and verify the model by sem-pls. Our findings indicate that the impact of the cowid-19 pandemic has led to more people showing behaviors to reduce food waste, increasing young people's awareness of the ethics of food waste and the environmental consequences of food waste.

Abstract: This paper analyzes some supply chain barriers caused by cowid-19, and the economic impact of cowid-19 on real estate companies, tourism and agriculture, or global GDP growth. This paper summarizes some recovery strategies of food industry, which may reduce the economic loss of food supply chain in the case of pandemic. This paper discusses the public distribution system (PDS) under the recovery strategy. In order to overcome the impact of covid-19, a framework of restorative food supply is proposed, highlighting the basic activities.
