Introduction

Over the years Apple has distinguished itself as an iconic brand and attained recognition in the market. Due to the increase in competition, it is important that the company produces top-notch quality products to increase its consumer base. These necessitate the need to have effective control measures to ensure that production is in line with the company goals. Control also helps to identify deviations and ensure they are addressed.

Strategic control measures

Putting in place a factory (feed forward) is necessary. This will help the company have quality ingredients needed in the production. The manufacturing of the liquid metal that helps the production of gadget cases, the antennas and put a distinguished logo to identify the brand from counter fits. It also helps to cut the cost since this is a recurring expenditure (Thamhain, 2014). It eliminates errors that may arise due to quality hence make it easy to track errors in the production process. It fosters accountability in the workforce as quality raw materials are delivered hence need for quality end products. This is in line with the company’s goal of providing distinguished quality products to the market.

Comprehensive market reports on a monthly basis (feedback). This makes sure that the company is in line with its goal of being relevant. Apple products target the high-end market hence consumer satisfaction is key. There should be a value of money in terms of the security of the product, the quality and effectiveness of the product in terms of speed and longevity. These reports help to track how well Apple products are performing compared to the competitors. This is aimed to make sure that Apple maintains its position as an iconic brand in the market (Khan, 2015). The reports analyses consumer feedback to help the production of gadgets and software that are tailored to meet their needs, building a relationship and increasing loyalty. The market report also does help in the analysis and identification of future consumer needs.

Talent identification and nattering (concurrent).it makes sure that the company is in line with its goals of fostering innovation and human empowerment. One of the ways of identifying talent is through forming teams. They will help in the discovery and nattering of talents through the division of labour and specialization among the team members. Teams will go a long way to aid cohesiveness and interdependence which is key in product development. Talent identification helps in specialization, improving both quality and speed and reduces the pressure of an individual of having to accomplish multiple tasks. Putting in place contracts that can attract and natural talent more so those in colleges and high school. This will protect the company from the violation of labour laws of exploiting underage but gives the company a chance to explore the ideas and talent of the young people (David & Murman, 2014).

Quarterly analysis of individual performance (feedback). This helps meet the company's goal of being productive. These analyses will motivate the individual to put forward their best practices as a continuous rise in performance attracts rewards and recognition in the company. It is not only important for career growth but meets the psychological needs of a palatable working environment where your efforts are recognized. It challenges others to improve in their different areas. Analysis of performance helps in the identification of the root cause of challenges and provision of a lasting solution.
