1. Go to the link http://www.apa.org/ethics/code/ where you will find Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct. Go to the third “bullet” where the five General Principles are listed and briefly discussed, and read carefully

Reminders for your Reference List
1. reference list must be on a separate page at the end of your paper (it does not count as one of your minimum of THREE content pages)
2. the words…..Reference List….should be one inch from the top of your page and centered
3. margins must be one inch
4. reference list must be double spaced, just like rest of your paper, and do not skip extra space between sources
5. first line begins at left margin; second and all subsequent lines are indented five spaces
6. sources are listed in alphabetical order according either to the author’s last name OR the first word of the title of the article…not first word of the source
7. titles of books and magazines, journals, or newspapers are italicized
8. titles of articles are not italicized
9. only the first word of the title of a book or the title of an article is capitalized, unless there is a colon. If there is a colon, the first word after the colon is italicized. Also, any “proper nouns” are capitalized. Otherwise, everything else in the title is in lower case letters.
10. the year goes in parentheses, after the author’s name or the title of the article ; if there is no year, you must put (n.d.) for no date, in parentheses, after the author’s name or the title of the article.
Paper Formatting Instructions
1. ENTIRE paper should be double spaced, with no extra spacing between paragraphs
2. Font should be size 12 Times New Roman
3. Every page should have a running head
4. Margins should be one inch all the way around
5. The ONLY place I should see "personal pronouns" (I, my, you, we, our, etc) in your paper is in the “personal reactions” paragraph at the end of each experiment analysis.
6. You NEVER use contractions anywhere in an APA paper, and you always write out all numbers from ONE through TEN.
7. Title page information should be centered in the middle of your page and should also be double spaced in size 12 Times New Roman font
