The shift in the use of social platforms is an example of how the technology landscape for teens has evolved. Possessing a smartphone has risen to become the new norm amongst teens. According to a survey carried out, 31% of teens say that social media has had a positive impact on their lives, while 24% say that it has had a negative impact. 45% say that it has had neither positive nor negative impacts.
