The purpose of the article is to examine how anxiety disorders can increase dependence on alcohol and other drug substances. The author put into consideration demographic factors as well as comorbidity factors while carried the research in the United States. The data was collected using interview and observation of the behavior of individuals who are dependent on drugs. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results indicated that people with anxiety disorders have high probability of turning into drug abuse. Similarly, the likelihood of people who abuse drugs to have an anxiety disorder is also high especially when they lack money to buy drugs. This will consequently lead to drug addiction and drug dependence. The author shows there are increased chances of fathers abusing drugs especially when there are financial constraints. Most of them will take drugs in order to relieve themselves from stress but this does not. On the other hand, the article on the relationship between drug dependence and anxiety shows what many people are experiencing. There are increased incidences of drug dependence leading to addiction. Many people are struggling with addiction and they are unable to do their normal activities without drug injection or any other mean of taking drugs.

This article purposed on reducing anxiety disorders among older adults and addressing how regular exercise can minimize the impacts of anxiety disorders. It evaluates the efficiency of physical exercise in the elimination of anxiety disorder. The methods used for data collection were mainly literature review, cohort, and a case series. Data was collected from older adults and those who live a sedentary lifestyle. In order adult, physical activities especially when done regularly can reduce anxiety disorders among adults. This is because their bodies will be active and will not have time to think about fake issues. Additionally, the intensity, time, and frequency of exercise determine how adults can reduce the effects of anxiety disorders and other mental illness. Most of adults do not exercise regularly and most of them live sedentary lifestyle. This makes them be prone to anxiety disorders more so those who are overweight. Aerobic exercises help in reduction of anxiety disorder sensitivity. Basically, anxiety disorders among adults have increased impacts such as turning into drug abuse and other related criminal activities. Increased use of drugs and other substance can make many men not to perform their normal family duties. Most of them may ignore their responsibilities of taking care of their children.

The purpose of the article is to investigate on Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). The author tries to show the importance of understanding anxiety disorders, causes, signs, and symptoms. It also shows the theory which is connected with depression and how it is related to depression. It was indicated that the theory of depression conceptualization is highly associated with general anxiety disorders. When someone understands the nature and the type of anxiety disorder, it is easy to provide the right treatment. Moreover, the generalized anxiety disorder may cause excess worry to an individual or mental illness such that he or she cannot perform the normal activities. Some of the impacts of (GAD) include turning into alcohol and other substance abuse, isolation and withdrawal effects. Most of the adults usually neglect their responsibilities. They become less concerned and cannot continue supporting their families. This might disrupt the family budget because if a mother or father cannot provide for his or her family due to generalized anxiety disorder, the family will look for other survival mechanism. Children will suffer due to lack of basic needs. When parents neglect their responsibilities, some of the children may end up dropping out of school due to lack of basic needs. Another children are forced to take care of their siblings because the parents have mental disorders. In adults, generalized disorder may cause dependence on alcohol and other substances.

The book focuses on the mechanisms which can be taken in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders. On any psychiatrist to help in the diagnosis, one must understand the cause, type and the symptoms of the anxiety disorders. Some of the causes that the author outlined in this book include exposure to traumatic events such as war or death of loved one. Another cause is genetic factors where some individual are born in families which have historical background with anxiety disorders. These individual are more likely to experience anxiety disorders. Environmental factors may also risk factors for anxiety disorders. If an adult stays with people who are drug addicts, it is easy for him or her to start using. The diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders can only be done by specialized professionals. People who have an extreme mental illness may be taken to rehabilitation centers and their behavior is monitored while undergoing medication. Diagnosis can be one through physical examination or assessments. The psychiatrists can also administer cognitive tests, physical texts or any other kind of tests. Medication for anxiety disorders also depends on the extremity of the disorder. Some people may also undergo guidance and counseling for them to recovery.

The article explains how mental disorders have become common due to financial stress. Most of the college students have family responsibilities and financial constraints can contribute to anxiety disorders. It is common for people with financial problems to develop emotional, cognitive and other problems. Loss of jobs has been a major reason why most of the adults engage in drug abuse. This is because they are very idle and cannot continue to get the money they were used to have. The financial problem makes the different individual to use alcohol and other substance as a way of relieving stress. Similarly, financial problems have contributed to turning to criminal activities such as stealing and prostitution. People who have lost their jobs may become very much stressed such that they decide to engage illicit activities. Extreme financial problems among college students have caused some of them to commit suicide. Anxiety disorders due to financial problems can be easily treated especially when an individual is offered means of generating money after undergoing treatment. Financial challenges also affect the family budgeting because some means of generating money may not operate as it was expected.
