It also uncovers the harsh realities that originally Facebook was not created for social networking, rather it was created for helping people in dating and how it impacted the lives of its founder himself. Kevin Healey is associated with the University of New Hampshire Durham and Richard Potter is affiliated with American Jewish University Bel-Air. These two academics shared their research through this article in which an analysis is done of official statements made by Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg about moral concepts followed by the firm. It creates a development concept to create a relationship with Facebook users that reflects the relationship between a patient and an analyst. Facebook treats its users as patients and feeds them a set of virtues and acceptable values through this platform which has deep embedded commercial imperatives. Facebook is the world's largest networking platform which has more power than any other social networking site on its users. Facebook uses this power to manipulate the values and perspectives of its users. This is of course done under the supervision of its founder. Through this study, the authors tried to communicate to the audience which also includes the policymakers to realize the social construction of morals and values before it’s too late. The power dynamic between Facebook and its users is highly imbalanced and it needs rectification as early as possible.

David Murakami Wood is affiliated with Global Urban Research United at school of Architecture Planning and Landscape at the University of Newcastle. Facebook has faced a lot of criticism based on its data sharing and misusing customer data without their permission. After this Facebook faced harsh backlash from users as well as from the lawmakers. As a result of which the CEO and the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg presented the "Facebook Manifesto" declaring the political manifesto of the company. In it, he outlined the future course of action for the firm. Help from different researcher’s work has been taken for preparing this manifesto including Connexionism of Eve Chiapello and ‘Understanding of platform’ and ‘analysis of Surveillance capitalism’. All these concepts have been borrowed for defining the future plan of the firm. It is hoped that Mark Zuckerberg defines the vision well for his company as he did 15 years go and put the firm right on track.
