The Role of Women in Business Management
I have chosen the topic "The role of women in business management" because of its
widening scope. Women are playing a commendable role in business management, not only in
leadership positions but also as employees. Women are now countering their male counterparts
in the field of business management through their prudent decision-making, efficient
communication skills, and farsightedness.
Problem statement
The management dilemma refers to the condition where the managers must fulfill more
than one goal at a time. The management dilemma for women managers is to get a higher
position in the male-dominated society. Simultaneously, their dilemma is to maintain a balance
between their domestic and official duties. Women managers also strive for making others aware
of their potential and capabilities without facing workplace harassment. The marginalization of
women and the resistance of their male counterparts to accept their managerial roles also hinder
women's performance in business management. Hence, this paper will discuss all the dilemmas
of women managers while suggesting some measures to cope with these dilemmas as well.
Conclusion
Conclusively, Women are being seen in every field of life, and their role is becoming
more diverse and versatile nowadays. My research question is to elaborate on the role of women
in business management despite being marginalized and mistreated in the male-dominated world.
It will also elaborate on the historical perspective in which women's roles were restricted to their
household duties, but they have proved that they can run businesses and organizations.
