2) Were you surprised by anything that came up when you searched for your self on Google? In thinking about cultural identity in the workplace, how can you ensure diversity of thought? What made you think differently after hearing more about microaggressions and diverse teams?

3) How has this course better prepared you for your internship/co-op search? How has SAIL played a part in helping you find opportunities related to areas of interest? What are your next steps for securing an experiential opportunity?

5) This week we are talking about the need to critically evaluate the sources from which we get our information [whether it be for work, academic, or personal purposes]. What specific examples can you provide from your own experience or that you've heard about that demonstrate what happens when individuals take their sources at face value without applying their critical thinking skills (meaning they trust them without verifying the credibility of the information)?

In our daily lives, we are surrounded by persuasive messages: advertisements, political campaigns, business requests, public service announcements. . . the list goes on and on. Why? Because persuasion (when used appropriately) is an effective tool to ​compel people to act​. Describe a time when a persuasive message prompted action on your part. What specific aspects of the message prompted your action?

7) In Week 3, we discussed document design and times when the visual appeal of documents or logos have impacted your impression of a particular company. This week, I want you to think particularly about a time that a visual such as a photograph or a graphic image containing specific data persuaded you toward a particular position or idea. What was it specifically about the visual and how it was used that made that impression?
