Group Process
The Johnson Family includes, Joanne Johnson (Grandmother), Theresa Johnson (Mother), 53 Theresa Johnson (Mother), Frank Powe (Father), Natalie Johnson (Daughter), Ashley Johnson (Daughter), Jasmine Johnson (Daughter) and Nicole Johnson (Daughter).
Natalie Johnson is a 17-year-old biracial African American/Caucasian female who is currently in the 11th grade. Natalie is an honor student and is currently taking college prep classes as she prepares to attend college very soon. Natalie is a star basketball player as well as a star cheerleader. She is involved in other organizations such as the NAACP as well as her school’s science club. Natalie has three younger sisters, Ashley Johnson (16), Jasmine Johnson (14) and Nicole Johnson (13) who are all biracial African American/Caucasian females, they all are A/B honor roll students and they are all involved multiple sports as well. Natalie’s mother, Theresa, is a 35-year-old and she is also an African American female. Her mother, Theresa work long hours as a supervisor for a local fast-food restaurant and has been struggling to make ends meet. Theresa does not have a high school and did not obtain her GED due to struggling to raise her children. The family is currently residing with Natalie’s mom, Joanne who is 53-years-old and is physically disabled. They all share a 4-bedroom government assistant home. The children’s father is Frank Powe who is a 35-year-old Caucasian Male. Frank and Theresa met as teenagers and was together until Frank was arrested for using and trafficking illegal drugs.

Communication methods
The communication methods that we all have agreed upon on using facetime, zoom, text messaging. Using these communication methods has been beneficial for us so far. We are able to meet with each other face to face to discuss our project as well as using text messaging to quickly check in with each other. We also utilize the group discussion board.
