In this assignment, you are asked to plan for children 6 weeks up to 36 months! Think about  how you might create goals, set up your environment and integrate different areas of development and big ideas in a developmentally appropriate way. Pay careful attention to the videos for the age groups shown in Module 1 and the  NYS Early Learning Guidelines Links to an external site.  and  Early Learning Outcomes Framework Links to an external site.  also in this module.

This Infant/Toddler assignment consists of three parts:

1.  Weekly planning sheet: Use one of the templates provided dependent on the age group. If you choose children 12-24 mos. or 24-36 mos. you should fill the appropriate template out once and for the 6 weeks to 12 months fill it out 3 times for 3 hypothetical children as this is an individual weekly plan.

2. A strategies sheet for creating effect partnerships with parents and culturally responsive learning goals (use template in Assessment section)

3. Letter to parents sharing information about the week (Same template as #2)
