Introduction

Fundraising will occur in support of the Los Angeles baseball team’s uniform, which costs approximately about 1,600.00. Dollars, the following price will include uniforms of the team players, baseball bats of the players, and baseball balls of the players respectively. The total staff who will support this fundraising event is fifteen members subdivided into different groups for managing the event. A total of about 2800 attendees of the school including the staff and their families will attend the event. The city’s mayor has offered one of the parks of the city for the fundraising event, along with this many local businesses will provide their service during the event.

Planning

For the fundraising of the Los Angeles baseball team uniforms, the local superstore is donating the food during the fundraising event in the park. Along with local businesses and workers are also providing their services to add their contributions to the fundraising services. The city’s mayor has also provided a small area for fundraising, the city’s park also provides an area to set up an event for the collection of donations in small boxes during the exhibition game by the basketball team. During every donation or fundraising, nonprofit organizations develop a plan or a strategy (Smith, 2009). Someone needs to address the idea of an event, to implement the designed plans to gather the committee for the required groundwork of the plan.

After the event, there will be a small section of a lottery or reward ceremony for the people or businesses who participated in the event by providing their goods and services (Waters, 2008). The planning portion of the event must be fully reviewed before the implementation to avoid any small error or fault as a donation or fundraising event is considered as a respected ceremony. The staff or volunteers will promote the event through announcements in the school or social sites or develop awareness

Organizing

This hierarchy of organizational structure shows the communication and reporting level of the volunteers to the management. Everyone placed in the hierarchy has their responsibilities and duties to fulfill during the work or fundraising. The following persons are assigned the designation they are proficient in. In the fundraising organizational structure, the main person or the director of the event is a person who is experienced in management and who knows whom to deal with volunteers during the event or the one who has the expertise of leadership skills (Smith, 2009).

Similarly, the main entrance team members will provide their services at the main gate of the security for and guidance purposes. And the on-stage team will help or assist the park to serve the other members of the fundraising or the guest who are invited for donations.

Similarly, the Mayor’s office team will assist the mayor during his work on stage or during donation or fundraising speech. Organizing different teams with different purposes will lead to the achievement of goals and strategies that are designed for the fundraising event.
