You will be required to complete an additional assignment. I will be asking you to write a

short report (5-10 pages, double spaced) describing the top 5 events that have hurt the

hospitality and tourism industry over the past 25 years. In this paper you will research the

events that have impacted the industry, how they came about, what impact they caused

(stats/facts) and how long each downturn lasted before recovery. One such example is the

terrorist attack on the US Sept 11.
