Many indicators point to the fact that the health care system in the U.S. does not perform as well as others. A recent report indicated that the health care system in the United States ranked last out of 11 countries in performance, pays the highest cost per person, and has poor outcomes (Schneider et al, 2017).

I am interested to know if any of you have lived outside of the U.S., and if so, what is your opinion on the U.S. health care system related to other counties?
