3 SOURCES)
· One personal interview (Conduct your own ) ( https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/09/ (Links to an external site.) )
· Two articles (ONE POPULAR, ONE ACADEMIC) each article must be a minimum 3 pages long, no reviews of books
How much writing?
· Entries with a minimum 150 word annotation for each entry
· Introduction essay – 300 word minimum (address how each source relates to the other and addresses your research question)
Formatting
· 11 or 12 point Times New Roman or Cambria font, 1” margins.
· Single spaced annotated bibliography summaries / double spaced introduction essay.
· MLA style for annotated bibliography entries and references to/citations of sources in the introduction essay.
· Your name and page number in header.

Annotations
Once you have read your notes compiled on your sources, start writing your annotations. WHAT TO INCLUDE IN EACH OF THE ANNOTATIONS
Please ALWAYS explain when possible.
Each question is 10 points= 70 points x 3 annotations =210
1. Who is the author/speaker? Full name.
2. Is she qualified in this subject? Why? (you may have to google their name to find out who they are)
3. What is their thesis or main claim?
4. How does this article address or otherwise impact your research question?
5. Is this source scholarly, popular, some of both?
6. Does it seem like a reliable and current source? Why?
7. Is the research biased or objective? Why?
Introduction (40 points)
After writing/editing your annotated bibliography summaries , you will write an introductory essay that explains your question and the most important pieces of information/support you found to answer it.
(In other words, your introduction essay is summarizing your summaries. More boiling down!) You can now reflect on this source.
