Subject: Implementation of Information System

The process of implanting the information system will be vital to the company as it involves various benefits whereby I intend to serve as both a technical developer and implementer hence will be able to act technically alongside other experts who will help to implement the project. This will involve engaging the staff by training them on the new information system, and its benefits before the implementation process so as to ensure that they are equipped with the right ideas and knowledge of using the new systems. However, there are various challenges to be involved. For instance, the time required to train the staff on the new technology may interfere with the normal routine of the company. The staff may be required to abandon some of their duties to attend the training session. Additionally, some staff may be too busy to afford the training time hence end up not gaining the knowledge. This may pose some challenges shifting the work schedule to adjust to the new technology since some people may gain the knowledge within a short time than others. Transferring data from the current system to the new one may be problematic like having to shift the errors hence causing problems (Connelly et al, 2016). The resources needed will include time, people, information, and money. The project will require a significant amount of time to train the employees and also implement. This involves time to coach the staff how to use the information system and help them shift from the older to the new one. This will take a duration of five days. The consultants will also be required to guide the staff through the process and will include the graphic designers who will be designing the web pages and the assist in optimizing data retrieval questions so as to minimize the response time. The functional experts will be needed to apply the project domain. Funds will be required to hire such experts and purchase various items such as the cables and switches. Acquiring the software licenses will also require some funds. A follow-up activity will also be involved to ensure that the staff makes use of the new system appropriately and that any difficulties arising are addressed effectively. Change Strategy

In implementing the change, I would initiate some strategies which include providing the relevant details regarding the information systems to everyone. Everyone in the organization needs to have access to the information regarding the objectives of the proposed change and the impacts it may have. It is through the knowledge of this that the people can assimilate it into their own framework and be able to embrace and position it into valuable solutions to the difficulties facing the organization hence achieving the intentions (Basu, 2015).

Acting as a coach is important through guiding, holding project groups, and asking questions. This will involve much listening to the people's opinions and shape them into relevant actions and trust the people to realize the potential that I may not see myself. Comment by Grammarly: Deleted:ing

The system may face user resistance and in addressing this problem, I will have a direct communication line with the repair shop managers so that they help in adjusting the user interface as the implementation process continues. The staff will also be trained to use the new system and the tire inventory system which will enhance the access to personal reassurance and feedback. The inconveniences that may be caused by the new inventory will be addressed by developing in-house development system which will prompt fast response to fix any arising problems. Additionally, I being the developer, the staff will have direct access to me so that I help them out in case of issues with the new system. System Accuracy

The new system is intended to improve the current one by elevating the various errors associated which normally slow down the work process. This will ensure that there are no cases of system breakdowns since it will be easier to use and solve various issues by the users themselves. The need to hire the experts to repair the systems will be minimized since I being the developer will be easily available hence offer assistance where necessary. Since the system development only involves few other consultants, it is easier to reach any of them in case of problems. I will thus develop a code and document it to also the other people to interpret them to suit various functions. Being the developer, the staff will have no difficulties reaching me for assistance hence an arising problem will be solved as soon as possible. The new system contains no tangible errors and this will allow smooth flow of work. It will have inbuilt systems for solving errors which the user may not be able to realize. The staff will also be trained on how to reframe the system to suit their various needs according to their job requirements. The new system will be flexible to allow some deviations from the expected values and the data will be cleaned up to avoid shifting the current errors to the new system.
