Finding Articles: A Quick Start Guide

1) Articles can be found in many of our online databases. The Discovery Search box on the library homepage searches most of

the library databases at once, so it is a great place to start your search. Click on the “Articles” tab to search for articles.

2) You can also search in individual databases for articles—click the Databases box on the homepage for a complete list.

3) On the A-Z Databases list, choose a specific database by clicking its title.

4) Individual databases may look different than the one pictured below, but the same search strategies will apply.

5) Browse your search results for other potential keywords and key phrases to try. Click an article title for access.

6) In the article’s detailed record, click on one of the blue “Full Text” links in the left column to access the complete

article.
