The October Democratic National Convention presidential debate was Oct. 15. Having watched the debate, please answer the following questions in a 500 word essay response (e.g. do not just list the question prompts and answer them in bullets. You should submit thorough, well-designed paragraphs with topic sentences, correct grammar, spelling and syntax). Select one of the 12 candidates and complete the following information:

· Summarize the background of the candidate, and their journey to the Presidential race.

· Where does the candidate stand on public health and health policy issues (e.g. insurance/financing, quality, access to care, Medicaid/Medicare, gun violence, mental health, opioid use, and other social issues?)

· What questions still remain unanswered for you regarding the candidate's position on public health issues? What would you have asked the candidate, if you were in the audience?
