Annotated Bibliography Assignment

You will prepare an annotated bibliography with a minimum of 8 sources. Sources may include a mix of scholarly articles and high-quality trade journals. These sources will form the basis for your major project in this course – a literature review on a topic relevant to your thesis or to your career goals. The Annotated Bibliography should be single-spaced, using 12pt font and IEEE style entries. All 3 components below are necessary for full credit: 1. An appropriately styled reference -- IEEE style 2. A short paragraph of 3 or 4 sentences indicating:

• The research question, situation, or problem (the motivation for the text); • Methodology (very briefly -- consider including type of research report); • Major results/outcomes; • Conclusions, especially if author/s making strong claims about outcomes

3. Quoted material pointing to definitions or key ideas -- make sure to use quotation marks and specify PAGE NUMBER using an in-text citation in the AB
