Choose ONE of the following prompts and write a 3-4 page personal narrative. Be as detailed as you need to be to answer for the prompt. Make your essay interesting, logical, and honest.
1. Reflect on the different “voices” you use with different people. For example, how you talk to strangers or authority figures is different way you talk with your family or the way you talk with friends. Discuss why this is and how it informs ideas about who you are and your authenticity.
2. Provide a description of the best possible version of yourself you can imagine. Reflect on how you would need to live today and what habits would you need to cultivate (or eliminate) to become that person.
3. Describe a person you have only met once but that you still remember. Describe the interaction in detail and reflect on why you still remember this person.
4. Reflect on a negative behavior or bad habit that you have that you are unable to stop. Provide detail on what the negative behavior or bad habit is and try to account for why you are not able to stop.
5. Describe a coping mechanism that you employ when dealing with stress or anxiety. Reflect on whether this coping mechanism is effective in helping you or not.
