Revise the document on the other side of this page so it better suits its audience and purpose.  The document is a cover letter for a new Medicare handbook (Medicare is a government health insurance program for people over age 65 and for younger people with disabilities).  The letter would accompany a handbook with more information; some of that information is referenced in the letter.

The letter currently includes too much information (remember: the audience would be receiving it with a more detailed handbook).  To improve the letter, focus on what’s most important for your audience to know.  Restructure the letter as needed, and apply the principles of effective sentences from our class discussions.
