Wireless Network attacks on WPA Almuslem Thamer, and Mira Yun Department of Computer Science and Networking Wentworth Institute of Technology Boston, MA 02115, USA {almuslemt, yunm}@wit.edu Abstract—Wireless networks nowadays reserve one of the biggest part in internet world, and they are used by everyone as individuals and big companies. Security is one of the concern that people looks into because of the sensitive information and data and the protocols like WEP and WPA can be attacked. I present this Survey to discuses the threats and the solution for it. I. INTRODUCTION The era of the cyber world we live in right now and with everything we use there is the good and the bad part of it. Wireless access is the most popular method the people use to connect to the networks, internet and during that time we use many sensitive information an share it online. Using websites for games or online shopping many of us do it using wireless networks or what everybody know as “Wi-Fi”. [1]. Wi-Fi network access as helpful and easy to use, it’s subject to threats and attacks from hackers of scam and viruses online. We share many important information online when we use the internet such as credit card number when buy something online, phone numbers too, and many other confidential information. All what consumers do while they are connected o wireless networks is subject to be attacked, and this threat may cause a lot of problems for the user time you’ve written most of the paper. The writing process can be an important way to organize your ideas, think through complicated issues, refine your thoughts, and develop a sophisticated argument. However, an introduction written at the beginning of that discovery process will not necessarily reflect what you wind up with at the end. You will need to revise your paper to make sure that the introduction, all of the evidence, and the conclusion reflect the argument you intend. Sometimes it’s easiest to just write up all of your evidence first and then write the introduction last—that way you can be sure that the introduction will match the body of the paper. Don’t be afraid to write a tentative introduction first and then change it later. Some people find that they need to write some kind of introduction in order to get the writing process started. That’s fine, but if you are one of those people, be sure to return to your initial introduction later and rewrite if necessary. II. WIRELESS SECURITY THREATS AND METHODS A. Definitions/Problem Fromulation Define your problem (project topic) and give explanations on your problem/project in detail. B. Sub-Problems Your problem or project can be divided into several small problems or projects. Provide details and use sub- sections to achieve better readability. III. ALGORITHIMS USED TO PREVENT THE ATTACKS Provide your findings or solutions of your problems/projects. It could be your implementation details, performance test results, proposed algorithms or strategies. Or you could have all of them. Fig. 1. Example of a figure caption. (figure caption) A. Abbreviations and Acronyms Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, even after they have been defined in the abstract. Do not use abbreviations in the title or heads unless they are unavoidable. For example, Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) envisioned as one of the key infrastructures in the next generation wireless networks. B. Figures and Tables a) Figures, Tables, Graphs, Screenshots: They are highly encouraged and should be added to your paper Large figures and tables may span across both columns. Figure captions should be below the figures; table heads should appear above the tables. Insert figures and tables after they are cited in the text. Use the abbreviation “Fig. 1”, even at the beginning of a sentence. Table Head TABLEI. TABLE TYPE STYLES Table Column Head Table column subhead Subhead Subhead copy More table copy a IV. CONCLUSION Your conclusion is your chance to have the last word on the subject. The conclusion allows you to have the final say on the issues you have raised in your paper, to summarize your thoughts, to demonstrate the importance of your ideas, and to propel your reader to a new view of the subject. It is also your opportunity to make a good final impression and to end on a positive note. Your conclusion can go beyond the confines of the assignment. The conclusion pushes beyond the boundaries of the prompt and allows you to consider broader issues, make new connections, and elaborate on the significance of your findings. REFERENCES The template will number citations consecutively within brackets [1]. The sentence punctuation follows the bracket [2].
