After reading through the materials and watching the videos please write an essay on the following question:
Explain and describe the marriage patterns and traditions of the Dani.
The Website Essays are worth 25 points each. I expect you to be detailed on the Website Essays, but they are not a timed exercise. In this way you can go back and forth to the website and then refer to the text as well. Your Website Essay should be written and then submitted to the Dropbox. Your essay should be at least two pages in length and include important anthropology aspects.
Hit the Dropbox Link and submit your essay. The essay is due according to the Module 6 due dates. You may use your notes, text, website and your word processing program. You may submit your essay more than once, unlike the Essay Discussion Questions.
The web site discussion questions are set up so that you can go to the web site, view the material and then answer the questions that correlate with the web site. This is material that correlates with the various chapters. It is interesting and thought provoking. Be sure to answer the essay question completely and in detail. Most of the Web sites have two-four questions that are worth a total of 25 points. If you have trouble with the web site please contact me so that we can make adjustments.
Web site discussion questions will be found in modules 2 and 6. Module essays should be detailed and specific. In order to answer the questions fully that are asked a website essay should be at least 2 pages in length.

Explanation – Has the student sufficiently explained their ideas? Does the essay contain pertinent dates, details and specifics?
Good explanation – all questions answered and statements explained, also dates, details and specifics are included = full credit
Good/fair explanation – student answers most questions and explains most statements/ideas but leaves some unexplained, some dates included but not all events have a specific date= -2 points
Good/fair – fair/good – student answers some questions and explains some statements, but leaves some unexplained, most events do not have a date included.. = -4 points
Fair/good – student answers some questions but leaves others unanswered and explains some statements/ideas, but leaves most unexplained, specifics dates and details are minimal = -6 points
Bad – student answers maybe one of the questions, gives basic ideas and does not explain the ideas, no dates or details included = -10 points
