Critical Reflection on the Comprehensive Project

Some of the competencies I was able to gain in the process of compiling the complete project were an ability to examine several different perspectives, especially those centering on controversial subjects. In the project, I was able to analyze the concept and meaning of late-term abortion critically. I evaluated the manner in which this issue was viewed from different ethical, cultural, and religious groups. It was only through such an analysis that I was able to examine some of the ways through which the practice of abortion could be approached on a larger scale. Through a thorough analysis of the literature relating to this topic, my understanding was enhanced, and I was able to form independent personal opinions, which prompted my development of a grounded thesis (Crano, Brewer, & Lac, 2014; Neuman, 2016).
