Two Responses Needed

Response # 1 DB

A Health care manager can provide appropriate guidance in the documentation process and safeguard the privacy of patients according to the HIPAA’s privacy rules. It is important that information is secured such as surgeries, assessments, records and all kinds of documentation related to health care services that  are provided to a patient. The health care manager improves the transparency of access within the hospital or clinic. Confidentiality of health care records and information is very important, so having a specific staff to handle that position is needed.

Hello everyone, after a simple search via Internet, what would be a good job description to designate for a HIM in your own organization for hiring purposes? Please share and state in your own words which parts you would keep or add to and what you delete.

Thanks everyone, please remember to reference in all of your posts for a chance of greater participation point,

Dr. S
