Trends in Television

Television had certainly evolved in recent years. We see trends in programming moving from situation comedies to more serial dramas and reality programming. We see technological advances with digital video recorders such as TIVO and high definition displays. What will be the next big trend in television? Will that evolution create more ethical concerns or will it resolve some of the current ones?
