This assignment, we are examining technological advances from the 1940s-1970s, from World War II to the Baby Boom. Topics to choose from, include military advances (radar, sonar, jetplanes, etc), the medical field (antibiotics, birth control pills, and vaccines), as well as television, first computers, nuclear energy (from the Manhattan Project to nuclear-powered ships and nuclear power plants). Also look into synthetic rubber, improvements to automobiles, NASA, Space programs, etc.

Choose a few topics and mash it into the essay, include the bibliography, cite the sources in each fact.
