Summarize the terms

Osteology as broken down in the video has a root word and end word. “Osteo”- is the root word which means bones and “logy” which means a study. So osteology is the study of the skeleton and the structure of the bones and how they function and support the body in their day-to-day activities.

“Arthro”- joint is the root word and “logy”- the end word- is the study of joints, which are the intersection where two bones meet. Some joints movements are dependent on the shape of that particular joint. Some move in only one direction and others can move in several directions.
