Weekly Experiment and Discussion - Part 1 - Due by Day 3

For our experiments this week, we will be collecting a data set.  

I'l l be compiling the responses into a Minitab file (worksheet) that will be posted on Day 4 for us to use for the remaining part of the assignment.

Directions: Reply to this message with responses to each of the following.

1.   In your opinion, how much money would an individual need to make annually in order for you to believe they should be rich? ( In previous sections of this course, this question lead to all sorts of interesting discussions; however, I just need a dollar amount and nothing more - Please!)

2.  Which of the following gives your favorite type of music?

  • Other (No need to specify, "other" will suffice)

Weekly Experiment and Discussion - Part 2 - Due by Day 5

1) Create an appropriate graph (histogram or bar chart)

2) Give an appropriate measure of the center for each data set.

Explain why you believe your choices for chart type and measure of central tendency are appropriate for the data set.

Note #1: Most students prefer to copy & paste the Graph into Word, and then upload the Word file.

Note #2: I will post the data set as a response to this thread.
