Scientific method questions

I need this question answered and a few questions from my book wich i am attaching on here. I need only the questions on the top of the page number 6 and 10 only.  And at the bottom exercises 1-8.

The scientific method is used by scientists to understand the natural laws that the universe obeys. Scientists are not necessarily the only people who might use the scientific method. What professions, other than scientists, might use the scientific method? Explain your reasoning and use your understanding of what the scientific method is to support your answer. At least 100 words
