The teacher should be able to create a literate environment to promote vocabulary developement by having a classroom library, having a social environment for literacy, having a effective routine, and having group practices. The student can go to the classroom library to choose a book to read. Reading different books can promote good vocabulary words. It will allow the students to socialize with their peers. The students can talk about the different books that they have read. The students can have effective routines which wouls involve read aloud, new vocabulary words, spelling, and guided reading. The effective group practice includes the students learning style, sequence cards, and reading activities. A visitor should be able to see reading books in the classsroom library, collaboration about the different books the students have read, vocabulary words and the pronunciartion of those words.
