Research purpose
This wording (a) to clearly identify the purpose or issue; and/or (b) describe an action research project. For example, learning about a topic, developing a database, or creating a software application are not action research projects unless the activities are directly associated with one or more stakeholders other than the student or are associated with an Internship or a work related function. In addition, a description of “to obtain a Master’s Degree” does not describe the research purpose or issue. As a helpful note, a research project without an external stakeholder or client is traditional research.
