The research paper must be centered around my thesis and topic question and meet the requirements below.  This is for a Masters level course.

A false flag that is executed and successful, provides the necessary momentum for those in power to go to war.
 
Here is my Topic Question:
"What affect do false flag operations have on policy decisions; politically, militarily and economically?"

Gulf of Tonkin (Vietnam Incident), Operation Ajax (Iran Incident), Operation Northwoods (US Planned but not executed), Burning of the Reichstag (Possible German/Russian)
