Religious Change

Religion is not static, but changes over time  as do other elements of culture. Based on the readings, what factors were important in religious change, such as the significance of the Muslim veil or the emergence of a new religious movement, the urban rastas? Identify a religious change, either the emergence of a new movement or the change of a ritual, practice, or dogma, you have observed in your own culture. Provide evidence for that change, in the form of a reference. How would you explain that change? What social, economic, or cultural factors led to the change?
