Reflection

After reading about the paradoxes of globalization (attached file), describe how the world has changed in the 21st century. What, if any, predictions do you have about the future?  For example, will we see a decline in the power of the nation-state in favor of supra-national state forms, such as the EU?  Or is the modern nation state the ultimate form of power?  If so, on what basis will it be able to hold power world that is increasingly interconnected?
