For this part of the project, you will create a blog about an aspect of technology or media that interests you. Your blog postings look at the pros and cons of media/technology while sharing information with Internet readers worldwide.  It is important to remember that you are sharing information as a way to inform about your topic; later, for the paper, which we will write in class, you will choose a position on an aspect of your topic and transform your posts into an argumentative research essay.

Post 1: Context – Introduce your reader to the topic you wish to explore. Why should they care about this topic? This post should also offer some background/history on your media/technology issue.

Between the THREE of your blog posts, you will need to include integrated and appropriate quotes from at least 4 credible sources that support and enhance your post. Each post must incorporate at least one source.

All THREE of your blog posts need to include an MLA citation (a works cited) referencing where your information was found.

Feel free to include pictures and charts (but make sure to cite where they came from).  These can support your information.  Also, your posts can be include a video, again properly cited.

Each blog post must:

Be 350 words minimum (one page in a Microsoft Word document). You may want to type it in Word and cut and paste it into the blog to get the benefit of spell/grammar check.
Have an integrated, cited quote
Include a title
Include a works cited
