I think that the enactment of a federal hate crime is difficult because this society is so diverse. People coming from different cultures and having different backgrounds from race, religion and ethnicities. The fact it is so diverse it is hard to see if a hate crime is being committed until the act is all the way done and you see the end result. In which that result leads to someone being hurt or being killed. Also only fourty one states have laws against hate crimes in which leads to hearing big stories in those nine states in which nothing can be done. Unlike the negativety in those states they also have the biggest agencies that are against hate crimes to be able to protect everyone from sufferung from these crimes. One thing that is most difficult is like I said with not knowing when these crimes occur and they are all not alike with another with severity and type of crime. So you really can not target a area in a city to be able to see where all this happen unless you pile up the addresses of the crimes already committed and figure a general location.

I believe that the enactment of a federal hate crime law is difficult because there are so many different ethnicities in today's society that it cannot all be covered and looked over. The world is always changing and that means that laws must also be changing. It is difficult to pinpoint hate crimes and stop them, the only thing people can do is try to prevent it from happening again. That is usually all law enforcement can do it make changes as different obstacles arise. Another issue is that different areas have different problems and some solutions do not apply to all areas facing hate crimes. The law has to be tweaked for the specific area that they are in
