There is a fine line between persuasion and propaganda. Propaganda is prevalent in the media and in our society. In this assignment you will explore what makes information propaganda.
Choose any story from a news related magazine or website. The story should integrate both images and written work. Read the story then examine the images supporting the story.
In a 1-2 page essay, identify the persuasive angle of the story. Describe how the use of images support that angle. Then determine if the story is propaganda or not and explain why. In your explanation explore the target audience of the story's source and the group or organization behind the story. Include a proper APA citation noting the source of the story.
