ACTIVITY
Select one local, independent firm (it may be easiest to select a firm with which you may have an affiliation of some sort). It may not be a franchise or a branch operation of an MNE -- It must be independent and it must be local. Using concepts from chapter 6 in your text, describe and critique the firm's competitive strategy. Specifically, you should structure your response as follows:

a) Description of firm and its scope of operation;
b) Description of its generic competitive strategy;
c) Assessment of how effectively it is executing the strategy;
d) 1-2 recommendations for the firm. 

Your response should be 500-1000 words.
