Prisons overcrowding in the U.S.

Hello there, 

I need an argumanitive essay (pursuasive) to say that the U.S incarceration rates are high and that's due to harsh penalties in the war on drugs.

I have supplied you with resources that you must use. The paper 3-5 pages has to be MLA style, and has to be exccelent. 

I have attached a docx file that contains the introduction and the thesis statement. you build on it and argue against harsh penalties and what this issue is causing. You must use at least 5 of the resources included, and you're welcome to do your own supporting research. 

Each point in the thesis should be addressed well and strong.
