Principles of Management Homework

Using any of the popular business periodicals (such as Bloomberg Business Week, Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company), find examples of managers doing each of the four managerial functions.  Write up a description and explain how these are examples of that function. 4-5 paragraphs and include references to the webpages used. It can be one manager doing all four of these functions, or more than one manager doing one or more of these functions.  

In the textbook being used for the class, the four managerial functions are defined below:

Planning- defining goals, establishing strategy, and developing plans to coordinate activites.

Organizing - determining what needs to be done, how it will b done, and whi is to do it.

Leading - directing and coordinating the owrk activities of an organization's people.

Controlling - monitoring activities to ensure that they are accomplished as planned.
