Persuasive Paper

Write an 800 word persuasive paper in which you argue your position on an issue in one of the following categories:  cosmetic surgery or the environment.  Persuade your reader that your position is correct by giving evidence and examples (at least 3) which support your thesis.  

You must cite the source(s) using the MLA system of parenthetical documentation and list your sources on a separate Works Cited page. 

You must document, using parenthetical documentation, all  information from outside sources whether directly quoted or paraphrased.

Structure:

     Paragraph 1—introduction with thesis statement

     Paragraphs 2, 3, 4—evidence/examples that support your judgment

     Paragraph 5—conclusion which sums up evidence and restates thesis
