Everyone has seen or heard of a p-value. Consider your exposure and define what the p-value represents. Why can we compare it to alpha (the significance level of the test)? Last week we discussed confidence intervals. Consider what a p-value tells you that a confidence interval does not? What does a confidence interval tell you that a p-value does not? Is one more useful than the other? Make sure to support your ideas.
