observation logs

observe any type of group but not a family(group interactions seen on a TV program, news, movie, work or social situations) and note in your comments the group theory or processes discussed in class or in your readings from the text. The group should have at least 3-4 people.

Write 5 different logs and follow this structure in your paper.

1. Description of interaction (synopsis)
2. Choose and discuss the theoretical perspective[s] from class texts that might be useful in conceptualizing the situation. (Use existential / Cognitive behavioral / Solution-focused approaches to group) for each log use one of these theories and you are allowed to repeat on the last 2.
3. Describe the intervention/change strategy that you might use in working with this group.
