Answer the following three questions in paragraph form (a paragraph is usually five to six complete sentences; break long answers into smaller paragraphs). Cite any and all sources at the bottom of your assignment. 

1. What are the differences between alfabeto and the tablature systems of Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries? Which instruments were used for each? 
2. Describe the vihuela’s construction and how it is played, give two examples of major composers (explain a little about who they were based on your reading - in your own words), and explain why the vihuela is not a guitar.
3. Choose a classical guitar composer from module four’s material and find two examples of their works performed on YouTube. Compare the playing style, sound and overall textures of the music with the music played on the earlier instruments (lute, baroque guitar, vihuela).
