(1) What is BCG matrix?  Why do we need BCG matrix?  How we can use BCG matrix for effective strategic formulation?

(2) How do you categorize various Monsanto's products/services into one of four categories of BCG matrix (Cash Cows, Stars, Question Marks, and Dogs)?  Why do you think so?  Please make your own BCG matrix and write explanations of the model.  I am looking for your own ideas and logic!

(3) Based on information and your performance of previous modules, finalize your SWOT matrix of Monsanto.  

(4) Then, find or develop SO (strengths-opportunities) Strategies, WO (weaknesses-opportunities) Strategies, ST (strengths-threats) Strategies, WT (weaknesses-threats) Strategies of Monsanto.  Needless to say, please check your competitive profile matrix of Monsanto which you already developed previously AND your own BCG matrix of Monsanto in this journal.
