In this assignment you will demonstrate your ability to create swim lane diagrams that document business processes for organizations.  While swim lane diagrams are used extensively by MIS professionals when doing process analysis and design work, many other business professionals use this same technique.  

•The deliverable for this assignment is a one page swim lane diagram for drive-through ordering at a fast food restaurant.

•The major activities from the customer’s perspective include:

oPlacing an order

oPaying for the order

oReceiving the food

•Prepare a swim lane diagram documenting these interactions with the following lanes:

oCustomer

oClerk

oPoint-of-sale terminal

oKitchen

•You may use any tool of your choice to document the diagram (e.g., creately.com, PowerPoint, Visio).
