Calculate the diameter of a medium carbon steel pin in DOUBLE SHEAR subjected to a suddenly applied shearing force of 150000N.
(I am getting the answer as 18 .15 mm but the professor is saying its wrong)

I am getting 183.33 KN for part a and 56.4 KN for part b as answers and again the professor is saying its wrong.
Please help solve me both
