Read Sections 8.1 and 8.2. Then write a 2-3 page paper discussing several of the mathematicians from these sections and their contributions. You may choose people/contributions that you find most interesting or most important.

This paper should be typed, double spaced, with 12 point font, no more than 1” margins on the top, bottom, and sides. Cite all your sources and keep direct quotes to a bare minimum (but direct quotations should be clearly denoted with quotation marks). But a list of references does not count toward the two-page minimum. 2 sources minimum.
