A LETTER

Read the Academic Honesty Policy "in the attachment":

Write a letter to incoming freshmen on what it means to be an ethical student scholar. 

1. Include a summary of what you thought it was before you read it (ex. “Before I came to college, I thought academic dishonesty was…”), what it actually is (ex. “But what I realize now is…”), and what it means for people entering a university (ex. “My advice for you as an incoming freshman is…”).

2. Make sure to incorporate actual pieces of information from the CSUSM Academic Honesty Policy -- we need to see evidence that you read the policy (it’s important!)
