I'm an e-Commerce Manager working in Parkson Department Store in Malaysia (www.parkson.com.my). I have a team of 11 person staffs under me. Most of them are Assistant Admin Level for data entry, stock fulfillment, Photographer, Sales Coordinator, Merchandiser, Web Designer, Social Network Writer, and Graphic Designer.

I have a very small team to serve for the new channel. Motivation of staffs is very important for me as a leader.

b)      Your definition of Leadership in your industry. - In retail line, Parkson is department store. Meaning have to elaborate the leadership in retail industry.

c)       Who is a leader? What does it takes to be an effective leader in your organization giving examples to illustrate your view. - You just need to write one of the leading retail company by using Leadership terms.

d)      Your Leadership status in the organization with respect to the Leader, Followers and the situation. - I'm in e-Commerce department, my leader is AGM from Sales Floor. My follower are Assistant Admin Level for data entry, stock fulfillment, Photographer, Sales Coordinator, Merchandiser, Web Designer, Social Network Writer, and Graphic Designer. The situation can elaborate on how I make the project successful. In between various of project obstacle faces such as buy in people to believe in online selling, merchandize assortment, fulfillment process, supply chain, system integration, product itemization.
